So on a miller trailblazer there an option for FCAW-S. I usually use it for FCAW-G so my ground is on negative.
My question is do I have to switch polarity from negative to positive for flux core self shield wire ?
I'm thinking the machine would automatically detect the diff in process and will automatically switch the polarity by itself without me having to switch the cable
Fcaw-s is negative
Fcaw-g is positive
Miller's normally change the polarity it in the machine while Lincolns you normally have to switch the leads.
I think your machine will detect it for you, like you said.
Are you sure that FCAW-S is negative? I had it on negative and it didn't look right.
This website said gaseless wire go on positive
