I'll go first.
This week I learned that the prints aren't always right/complete. I learned where to find the correct or missing information i need to create a part that works.
I learned grinding out welds sucks...Grinding out good welds REALLY sucks.
OH! Tap magic makes carbide burrs in a die grinder go into god mode.
Ohhh I like that tap magic idea!! (Although I hate the way it smells)
How/where did you find the missing info on the prints?
There is a janky computer in a cabinet that you can log into and pull up read only versions of all of the parts and machines in solidworks. There you can pull dimensions between lines that may not have been called out on the print. To cover my a** I'll confirm my findings with QC before making any cuts.
