Finally got to use my pedal that I bought to get better at ally.
Nearly a pound of wire and 1 torch later. And I feel much more confident with aluminium.
I had a parker 26 fx and just melted at around 150amp for 2 hrs. So machine got a chance to cool down while I went to store (LWS) to get another torch head.

I brought my ck 17fx to work to tig up a bunch of bungs simply because it had the trigger i like on it already. 120A for 20 min at a quick pace and the rubber was smoking. Pouted for a minute then switched to a 20. Mondays am I right?!?🤣

Yup, I have a really good LWS, I walked in and just got a swap out head for it threw the old parker head and got moving with tigmaster head on the parker torch. Any other welding "superstore" of which we have a couple would have had nothing other than another cheap torch and lead unit. It makes me less irksome spending a few dollars more when the guys selling stuff has been welding longer than me. Im pretty handy but I still learn more no nonsense tips by going there.
